Is Hydraulic Decoiler Straightener matched with Sheet Metal Leveling Machine for CTL line?

Hydraulic Decoiler Straightener can be well matched with separate Sheet Metal Leveling Machine to assemble a complete CTL (Cut-To-Length) production line, and this combined layout is widely adopted for processing thick hot rolled steel, stainless steel and high-hardness alloy coils.

The integrated hydraulic decoiler straightener finishes coil unwinding and preliminary coarse leveling at the front end, removing obvious coil camber and bending deformation after steel coil loading. However, for sheets requiring high flatness, the preliminary correction cannot meet finished standard. An independent Sheet Metal Leveling Machine with multi-layer precision leveling rollers is installed behind the straightener for secondary fine flattening, eliminating residual internal stress, edge wave and middle arch of steel plates.

This split configuration brings prominent advantages: users can respectively adjust the roller gap and running speed of two sets of equipment according to different material thickness and hardness. When switching between thin coated sheet and thick hot rolled plate, there is no need to reform the whole line. Compared with all-in-one compact line, the separated collocation features stronger load capacity and convenient later maintenance, especially suitable for mixed production of diversified raw materials.

For thin-gauge galvanized and PPGI coils with low flatness requirement, customers may choose the all-in-one hydraulic decoiler straightener alone without additional sheet leveling machine to save investment cost.
