Plate Flattening Machine,also known as sheet straightening machine,is multi-roll metal processing equipment to flatten deformed steel sheets caused by laser cutting,plasma cutting,flame cutting,stamping and hot forging.It removes edge waves,middle buckles,camber and residual stress to meet flatness requirement for welding,machining and further forming.Available in mechanical and hydraulic CNC types.

Working Principle

Workpiece passes through staggered upper and lower work rolls and receives repeated alternating elastic-plastic bending.Excessive deformation is corrected at the inlet,while bending depth reduces gradually toward outlet to release internal stress and restrain springback,finally obtaining smooth flat plates.CNC hydraulic models adjust roll gap automatically based on plate thickness and material yield strength.
