1.Overview
Steel Plate Leveling Machine(also called plate straightener/roller leveller)is core metallurgical&metalworking equipment designed to eliminate edge waves,center buckles,warping,crossbow deformation and residual internal stress on carbon steel,alloy steel and high-strength steel plates after rolling,flame cutting,laser cutting,stamping and hot working.By repeated alternating elastic-plastic bending,irregular steel plates are processed into flat,low-stress blanks to guarantee stable follow-up welding,machining and forming quality.It covers thin sheet(0.5mm)to extra-thick heavy plate(up to 100mm)processing specifications for diversified industrial production.
2.Working Principle
Based on elastoplastic deformation and Bauschinger Effect theory,the machine adopts staggered upper&lower multi-roller layout:
Steel plate is dragged forward by driving rollers and undergoes continuous reverse alternating bending when passing through the roller gap.Inlet rollers deliver large-amplitude bending to eliminate severe distortion;bending depth gradually reduces along the feeding direction at outlet side,releasing inner stress step by step until the plate achieves consistent flatness without rebound deformation.Modern hydraulic CNC models automatically adjust roller clearance according to plate thickness,width and material hardness via servo control system.

3.1 Rigid Mainframe Structure
Adopts pre-stressed closed integral frame with thick cast steel beam and four-corner tie rod pre-tightening design;frame deformation is controlled within 1/5000 under full load,effectively avoiding frame deflection and ensuring long-term stable leveling precision.Compact overall layout supports offline installation,with hydraulic station available for underground arrangement to save workshop floor space.
3.2 Optimized Roller System
Multi-spec roller configuration:5/7/9/11/17/23 work rolls optional for thin/medium/heavy plate respectively;small-diameter work rolls plus dense chessboard-style backup rolls enhance roll rigidity and avoid roll sag during heavy-load working.
Independent single-roller gap adjustment:each upper leveling roller supports separate hydraulic lifting to set optimal reduction for different steel grades,lowering repeated bending times and energy consumption.
Optional split sub-roller driving to prevent roll abrasion and workpiece surface scratch,extending service life of rollers.
3.3 Intelligent Hydraulic&CNC Control
Full-hydraulic drive with infinitely adjustable leveling pressure;equipped with AGC automatic gap compensation,overload hydraulic protection and real-time flatness monitoring system.Human-machine touch screen input material parameters(thickness,width,yield strength),the system automatically calculates roller gap and feeding speed to realize one-click automatic production,drastically cutting manual debugging time.
3.4 High Efficiency&Low Maintenance
Centralized automatic grease lubrication for all transmission bearings and gearboxes to reduce wear;wear-resistant alloy work rolls with surface quenching treatment for long service cycle;easy disassembly for routine inspection and roll replacement.
