After workers lift raw steel coil onto decoiler mandrel via forklift or small crane, operators expand mandrel to fasten coil inner wall firmly first; once the downstream roll forming machine starts running, linked photoelectric sensor transmits real-time speed signal to the decoiler’s variable frequency drive (VFD) system, synchronizing unwinding pace with forming speed automatically. Built-in tension brake system keeps constant strip tightness all through unwinding, eliminating common production defects like sheet wrinkling, edge warping, surface scratch and irregular feeding deviation caused by uneven coil release, greatly lowering finished product rejection rate of roof sheets. For automatic production lines, optional coil loading trolley can realize unmanned coil switchover, further lifting continuous production capacity of whole workshop.
