1. Product Overview

The U-Shaped Channel Roll Forming Machine is a fully automatic cold roll forming system designed for continuous high-volume production of U-shaped steel channels. At room temperature, flat metal coils are progressively bent and formed into uniform U-section profiles through multiple sets of precision rollers. This machine is widely suitable for galvanized steel, cold-rolled carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum materials, and is extensively used in steel structure construction, solar mounting systems, warehouse shelving, mechanical frames and infrastructure engineering.

2. Working Principle & Process Flow

The entire production process is fully automatic and completed in one continuous line: Decoiling → Feeding & Leveling → Multi-pass Cold Roll Forming → Hydraulic Fixed-length Cutting → Finished Product Discharging.

The metal strip is straightened and fed into the forming host. Through gradual cold bending by high-precision roller groups, the flat sheet is shaped into standard U-channel cross-sections without high-temperature heating. After forming, the hydraulic cutting system automatically cuts profiles to the preset length, ensuring consistent size and smooth finished surfaces.

- Automatic Uncoiler: Available in manual or hydraulic types, supporting stable unwinding of steel coils with different inner and outer diameters.

- Feeding and Leveling Device: Effectively corrects sheet unevenness, guarantees flat material feeding and improves forming stability.

- Roll Forming Host: Heavy-duty welded steel frame with high-hardness quenched alloy rollers. Roller positions are adjustable to produce various U-channel specifications on one machine.

- Hydraulic Cutting System: Adopts post-forming fixed-length cutting or flying cutting technology. The cutting edge is flat, burr-free and deformation-free.

- PLC Intelligent Control Cabinet: Equipped with touch screen operation, supporting automatic setting of production length, quantity and running speed. It realizes full-automatic operation, counting and error alarm functions.
