1. Brief Overview

U Channel Making Machine, also known as U purlin roll forming machine, is a specialized cold roll forming equipment designed to process galvanized steel, cold rolled steel, stainless steel and aluminum coils into standard U-shaped channel steel profiles continuously. Widely applied in construction steel structure, factory workshop, warehouse, solar bracket, guardrail and mechanical frame manufacturing industries.

2. Main Working Principle

Raw metal strip is uncoiled, leveled, fed into multiple groups of forming rollers sequentially. Through gradual cold bending and extrusion by precision roller dies, flat steel sheet is bent into fixed-size U cross-section without hot heating. After forming, products go through hydraulic cutting according to preset length, finished U channels are output automatically.

Decoiler: Manual/hydraulic uncoiler to load raw steel coils, supporting coil inner diameter and outer diameter customized as customer demand;

Feeding & Leveling Unit: Straighten uneven steel strip to ensure stable feeding and uniform finished size;

Roll Forming Host: High-quality forged alloy forming rollers mounted on solid shaft, adjustable for different U channel specifications;

Hydraulic Cutting System: Post-forming flying cut or fixed-length cutting, smooth cutting surface without burr;
