1.Product Overview

Double Layer Roll Forming Machine is a dual-profile integrated cold forming equipment,designed to produce two different sizes of metal roof or wall panels on one single production line.By installing two sets of forming roller systems up and down on one machine base,the machine saves factory floor space and reduces separate equipment investment for customers.It processes galvanized coil,color coated steel coil and aluminum coil into two kinds of corrugated metal sheets through continuous cold bending molding,finishing decoiling,feeding,roll forming and fixed-length cutting automatically.This machine is highly popular for small and medium roofing factories,building material processing plants and construction engineering suppliers globally.

2.Production Flow

Hydraulic uncoiling→material guiding&leveling→upper/lower layer alternative feeding→double-layer roll forming→hydraulic fixed-length cutting→finished sheet unloading.Clients can add optional pre-punching structure if holes are required on finished panels.

3.Main Technical Features&Parameters

The machine fits raw coil thickness from 0.3mm up to 0.8mm,matching standard steel coil inner diameter 508mm and maximum coil loading weight around 3 to 5 tons.Two independent forming roller groups are arranged in upper and lower layers respectively,with roller quantity customized based on two different panel profiles.Main drive system adopts gearbox transmission for stable running,and the working speed keeps between 8 to 18 meters per minute according to material hardness.

Whole line is controlled by PLC plus touch screen operating system with high-precision encoder for length measurement,cutting tolerance controlled within±1mm.Standard power supply is 380V/50Hz three-phase electricity,and voltage can be modified to meet different countries’local power requirements.

4.Machine Main Components

Hydraulic Uncoiler

3–5 tons hydraulic uncoiler with auto expanding and tension brake structure,fixing raw steel coils tightly to avoid loose winding or material shifting during continuous feeding.Compact structure matches the double layer host perfectly without extra space occupation.

Double Layer Forming Host

The main rack is made of heavy-duty welded steel after stress elimination processing to prevent long-term running deformation.Rollers are manufactured with GCr15 alloy steel,going through high-frequency quenching and surface chrome plating,featuring strong wear resistance and long service lifespan.Upper and lower forming tracks work independently,users can switch between two panel types conveniently via touch screen setting without replacing rollers.

Hydraulic Cutting Unit

Cutting blades use Cr12MoV mould steel with overall quenching treatment.Flying cut design enables cutting while machine keeps running,avoiding shutdown loss and improving overall production efficiency.

PLC Control Cabinet

All production parameters including finished length,production quantity and layer switching are set on HMI touch screen.The system supports automatic running,real-time working data display and automatic fault alarming for easy daily operation.

Output Platform

Two separate discharging racks are equipped for upper-layer and lower-layer finished sheets,convenient for manual collection or matching with optional automatic stacking equipment.
