Roll Forming Machine

Roll forming machine, also named cold roll forming machine, is an automatic continuous metal forming equipment working at room temperature without heating raw materials. It shapes flat metal strips into customized cross-section profiles via successive multiple rows of rolling dies.

Coiled raw materials including galvanized steel, PPGI, cold rolled steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheet are unwound from uncoiler first. The metal strip feeds straightly into pre-punch station optionally for pre-drilling holes and notches before forming. Then the strip passes through dozens of forming stands step by step; each set of rollers bends the metal slightly to avoid material crack and guarantee uniform dimension. After full shaping, finished profiles go through flying cutting unit, which cuts products into fixed length on running status without machine stop. The whole production line is controlled by PLC system with frequency conversion motor to adjust running speed flexibly.

Our roll forming lines cover various applications: roof & wall panel, C/Z purlin, light steel stud & track, highway guardrail, cable tray, door frame and rack upright. Production speed ranges from 15 m/min to 80 m/min based on different profiles and material thickness (0.3mm–12mm available).
