Hydraulic uncoiler has two separate motor sets: main drive motor for spindle rotation and hydraulic pump motor for hydraulic station, whose rated power is mainly configured by machine tonnage, coil width, material thickness and production line running speed.
Standard light-duty hydraulic uncoiler (3T–5T, matching thin PPGI, galvanized sheet for roof panel roll forming): Main drive motor ranges from 2.2kW to 5.5kW, matched hydraulic pump motor is 3kW–4kW, total installed power around 6–9.5kW, the most common configuration for small roll forming and stamping lines.
Medium type 6T–10T hydraulic uncoiler (C purlin, floor deck mainstream model): Main driving motor is 7.5kW–11kW, hydraulic station motor is 5.5kW–7.5kW, widely used for full-size mill steel coils within 1250mm width.
Heavy-duty 12T–20T large hydraulic uncoiler for hot rolled thick plate, automotive steel and slitting line: Main motor upgrades to 15kW–30kW, hydraulic pump motor reaches 7.5kW–11kW; customized oversize models for extra-heavy coils can adopt higher power above 37kW.
All standard motors adopt 380V/50Hz three-phase industrial power with inverter speed regulation; extra power margin (10%~15%) is reserved for high-speed production lines to avoid overload burnout. If equipped with optional hydraulic coil car, an extra 2.2kW–3kW auxiliary motor for trolley lifting and moving will be added separately.
