What width range does standard hydraulic uncoiler support?

Standard hydraulic uncoilers are customized according to matching roll forming, stamping and slitting production lines, with fixed mainstream standard width specifications classified by common industrial application scenarios. Conventional small-sized hydraulic uncoiler for thin-gauge galvanized coil, PPGI and stainless steel strip generally supports working width from 100 mm to 800 mm, widely matched for small hardware stamping, miniature door frame and thin sheet roll forming equipment. The most widely used medium standard hydraulic uncoiler occupies the dominant market for roof panel, purlin and floor deck roll forming lines, whose regular applicable coil width covers 300 mm–1250 mm or 300 mm–1500 mm, this size is the universal benchmark for global mainstream equipment manufacturers.

Heavy-duty standard hydraulic uncoiler designed for hot rolled thick steel, large-size aluminum coil and automotive structural material is normally set for width ranging from 800 mm up to 1600 mm; oversized customized models can reach maximum 2000–2500 mm for special metallurgical cutting lines. Besides fixed standard width, all hydraulic uncoilers reserve design allowance for non-standard width modification based on clients’ actual coil width, equipped with hydraulic expansion spindle to fix different inner diameter coils stably, paired with ultrasonic follow-up speed control to guarantee stable unwinding within full rated width scope without sheet wrinkling or deviation. Optional hydraulic coil car is configured on most standard-width uncoilers to realize automatic feeding for all matching width coils and reduce manual feeding risks.
