Coil straightening machine has multiple customized specifications, and its applicable processing thickness varies greatly according to machine structure, roller diameter and frame load, which is divided into thin plate, medium plate and heavy thick plate models for different CTL cut-to-length lines.
Light-duty coil straightening machine is mainly matched with PPGI, galvanized coil and thin cold rolled steel. Its standard applicable thickness ranges from 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm, widely used in household appliance shell, small hardware stamping and light building panel cutting production. Medium general-purpose coil straightener occupies the mainstream market of steel structure processing, processing thickness from 2.0 mm up to 10 mm, compatible with ordinary hot rolled coil, carbon steel and common stainless steel for purlin raw material and flat blank cutting.
Heavy-duty coil straightening machine adopts thickened welded frame and large-diameter solid forging rollers, designed for thick hot rolled steel, alloy steel and boiler plate, covering thickness of 8 mm to 20 mm; ultra-heavy customized types can reach 25–30 mm for ship and container steel processing.
Users should reserve certain thickness allowance during model selection. When frequently switching different thickness materials, configure adjustable roller gap structure to guarantee leveling flatness and avoid plate bending or surface indentation caused by mismatched equipment specification.
